Filing Form ETA 9142
As of January 18, 2009, the rules regulating filings for H-2B employees changed.
The old ETA 750 that required signatures of the employer has been replaced by the new ETA 9142. The ETA 9142 requires that the employer client designate Adnil Services as the employer is authorized agent (ETA 9142 Appendix B.1), and that Adnil services sign the ETA 9142, affirming that the information in the document is complete and accurate.
By designating Adnil Services as the employer's agent, and by signing the ETA 9142 Appendix B.1, the employer will acknowledge that they have provided Adnil Services with complete and accurate information, and that Adnil Services may sign the ETA 9142 as the employer’s agent. Knowingly furnishing false information is punishable by a fine of $250,000, and up to five years in federal prison.
